Mobileye has been developing Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for over two decades now, since our founding at the turn of the millennium. No fewer than twenty-eight global automakers today depend on our advancements to power the ADAS features in more than 300 models currently on the market.

By this point, our technology has been integrated into more than 60 million vehicles. To put that number into perspective, consider that if you lined up all those cars up end to end, they’d lap around the world seven times. And what’s more is that our numbers are only growing.

Even as we broaden our horizons to new and additional realms of AI-enhanced mobility (like autonomous driving and Mobility-as-a-Service), ADAS remains at the core of our business. And far from resting on our hard-earned laurels and “simply” expanding the application of our existing ADAS features to more vehicles, we’re continuously honing our technology and pioneering entirely new categories of driver-assistance technologies to keep moving the game forward to the benefit of everyone on the road.

But what, exactly, is ADAS? What specific features does our technology enable? And how are we leveraging our leadership in the field to drive the industry forward? For the answers to these questions and more, check out this handy fact sheet over in the Intel Newsroom. Even if you’re well-schooled on the subject, you just might learn something new.
