The most advanced driver technology for the toughest jobs.

Heavy duty and trailer vehicles require highly skilled drivers, as they’re typically the most difficult vehicles to maneuver.

While we have the utmost confidence in your drivers and fleet, collisions do happen – but they don’t have to.

The Mobileye Advanced Driver Assistance System offers the latest advancement in collision avoidance, utilizing our one-of-a-kind intelligent vision sensor to survey the road ahead.

Our high-resolution vision sensor is a toll-tag sized black box that mounts on the inside windshield, where it’s able to communicate with the EyeWatch® visual display (also located inside the cab). Using audible and visual alerts for an array of different hazards, the system sends simple warnings via an easy-to-read display for the driver if corrective action needs to be taken as well as an audible alert.

Distractions and fatigue are among the greatest enemies on the road to heavy duty drivers, which is why the Mobileye system recognizes what’s on the road ahead of you:

  • Other vehicles
  • Cyclists
  • Pedestrians
  • Lane markings
  • Speed limit signs

This versatility makes Mobileye a highly advanced all-in-one collision avoidance system available to fleets as an aftermarket add-on, capable of delivering real time warnings and information:

  • Forward Collision Warning
  • Lane Departure Warning
  • Headway Monitoring & Warning
  • Pedestrian & Cyclist Collision WarningSpeed Limit Indicator
  • Intelligent High Beam Control
  • Turn Signal Reminder
  • Low Visibility Indicator

By warning drivers in real time, they’re given vital seconds to use their driving experience to best react and avoid, or at least mitigate, a collision. Plus, there are minimal false warnings to ensure that all received alerts are taken seriously.

The Big Picture

  • Mobileye helps drivers reduce collisions, which, in turn, helps reduce insurance premiums and fines for noncompliance — all of which improve CSA scores.
  • A Mobileye-equipped fleet with over a billion miles driven experienced a reduction in incurred cost per mile and 37% reduction in overall collisions and incidents.
  • A Mobileye pilot program involving 2,000 trucks driving 47 million miles resulted in zero collisions, compared to an expected average of 11-13 collisions.
  • The US Department of Transportation estimates that nearly 300 fatalities would be prevented annually with collision avoidance technology on trucks. This would also result in $3.1 billion in prevented economic damages.
